It connects human protein targets with curated aptamer–target binding data and biological context, helping researchers identify proteins with existing reagent evidence and spot potential gaps. The site includes 742 literature-derived affinity measurements across 300 targets and 287 publications. Each measurement is linked to its primary source and exact quoted text, and labelled as intrinsic equilibrium or apparent/avidity data to support more meaningful comparisons. Users can browse, sort, and filter the data, including by aptamer evidence, structure, and other target characteristics.
For 7,177 human protein targets, apt-scout brings together information on structures, modifications, interactions, expression, and disease associations. It also links aptamer affinities to 114 experimental aptamer–protein co-structures, providing evidence about binding sites. Additional views support target exploration for extracellular-vesicle research, while clearly identifying predicted rather than experimentally confirmed accessibility. Tables and data are freely downloadable in CSV and JSON formats, with API access and documentation. apt-scout is designed to inform prioritisation of aptamer, antibody, antisense oligonucleotide, and small-molecule reagents; its scores and predictions are research aids, not experimental measurements.
