About APT
Agricultural Partnerships Trust (APT) is a Zimbabwean registered trust established in July 2010, dedicated to enhancing livelihoods in rural communities through sustainable agricultural practices. By raising and distributing funds, APT focuses on fostering economic development and facilitating partnerships between smallholder farmers and both private and public organizations. Guided by Christian principles, APT's mission is to empower farmers and improve food security.
Since its inception, APT has implemented several key projects, notably the Smallholder Market Development Programme (SMDP), Sustainable Intensification of Market-Based Agriculture (SIMBA), Livelihoods and Food Security Program (LFSP-MD), and Matabeleland Enhanced Livelihoods, Agriculture, and Nutrition Adaptation (MELANA). Each project has been designed to address specific agricultural challenges while promoting innovative solutions.
