Apuania Carrara Tennistavolo is an amateur table tennis club based in Carrara, Italy. Founded on 1 February 1968 as part of the Unione Sportiva Apuania Carrara, it affiliated with the Italian Table Tennis Federation in 1969. From its early days at the San Luigi youth centre, the club has developed competitive teams and training opportunities for players at different levels.
Its history includes early success in youth championships and, more recently, major team honours, including Italian league titles, Coppa Italia wins and Supercoppa Italiana victories. The club also took part in the Europe Cup in 2022 and received the CONI Gold Star in 2019. Its teams compete across men’s and women’s divisions, alongside programmes for paralympic athletes and beginners.
A beginner course introduces basic techniques, rules and foundational knowledge, while an advanced course builds on those skills for players pursuing competitive sport. Apuania Carrara Tennistavolo combines a long-standing local sporting tradition with pathways for newcomers and committed athletes to learn, train and compete
