The Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) is a prominent network uniting feminist organizations and activists across Asia and the Pacific. With 265 members from 30 countries, APWLD has dedicated the last 39 years to promoting women's human rights and advocating for Development Justice. As an independent, non-profit entity with consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council, APWLD aims to empower women to leverage law as a tool for equality, justice, and sustainable development.

The organization engages in capacity building, feminist analyses, and advocacy work while fostering networks that are essential for movement building. APWLD's programs focus on various critical areas, including feminist law and practice, climate justice, labor rights, and migration issues. By challenging patriarchal norms and systemic oppressions, APWLD is committed to enabling marginalized women to take active roles in shaping policies and legal frameworks.
