APX Volleyball Club, short for Athletes Pursuing Xcellence, is an amateur youth volleyball club serving boys and girls ages 5–18 in Orange County and Los Angeles County. The club welcomes beginners, teaching foundational skills, and offers competitive teams for players from 12-and-under through high school 18s. Its programs are led by coaches with collegiate, professional, and national-team experience.
APX provides club teams, tryouts, clinics, and camps, along with opportunities for players to develop their skills and pursue recruitment. Tryouts are held at Cypress High School.
The club season lasts about seven months, with practices beginning in November and tournaments generally running from December through June; some teams continue into early July. Fees vary by age group, with travel tournaments charged separately and clinics priced per session.
