Aqua Design

Aqua-Design, led by Jan Hájek, is a Czech specialist in custom aquariums and terrariums, with experience dating back to 1996. The business creates made-to-measure enclosures designed to suit both the customer’s space and the needs of the animals they house. Its services cover the full project, from an on-site consultation and measurements through design and manufacture to professional installation. Customers can also arrange ongoing aquarium maintenance, servicing, adjustments, and repairs.

Aqua-Design additionally offers glasswork, including cutting glass into irregular shapes or to supplied templates. For aquariums and terrariums, the company makes decorative backgrounds that imitate sandstone or rock formations. Its terrarium work considers suitable conditions and animal safety, including for reptiles and amphibians.

The company highlights individual attention, professional advice, quality Czech materials, and proven technologies. Its portfolio includes work connected with several exhibition and public projects, such as tropical and themed pavilions, a Japanese garden, and the Akva-Tera venue in Plzeň. Aqua-Design operates in Bdeněves, Czechia, and provides customer support and aftercare.
