Aqua-Tropica is a German aquatics manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer specializing in nano aquariums, ornamental fish and invertebrates. Drawing on more than 25 years of aquatics experience and a shrimp-breeding history dating to 1998, the company develops products informed by practical knowledge of animal care and aquarium keeping.

Its range includes natural foods for shrimp, crayfish, crabs, snails, Medaka and other ornamental fish, with formulas tailored to different species and life stages. Offerings include staple and breeding foods, baby foods, specialist diets for filter feeders and small fish, as well as mineral supplements. Aqua-Tropica also sells aquarium care products, water conditioners, solutions for challenging aquarium conditions, equipment, plants and aquascaping supplies.

The company says its foods are made in Germany using selected ingredients, without added sugar or artificial colorings, aromas or flavorings. Its product approach emphasizes natural feeding behavior, animal welfare and practical aquarium needs. Aqua-Tropica also provides personal advice on food selection, transitions and keeping shrimp or snails, alongside a retail store in Nuremberg and services for specialist trade partners.
