AquaCoustic Remote Technologies

AquaCoustic Remote Technologies Inc. provides robotic inspection and integrated sensor survey services for critical infrastructure above and below water. With more than 30 years of experience in geomatics and infrastructure assessment, the company works with civil engineering firms, government agencies, construction companies, pipe rehabilitation contractors, and private asset owners. Its surveys cover wastewater and drainage systems, underground pipes, dams and reservoirs, river crossings, bridge abutments, ports and marinas, mines, shafts, and boreholes.

AquaCoustic uses purpose-built robotic platforms and technologies including sonar, laser, LiDAR, gas sensors, CCTV, and other integrated sensors to collect precise data in complex environments. Services include underground pipe mapping, pre-acceptance testing, maintenance-hole and culvert inspections, specialty sonar and laser surveys, and studies of reservoirs, dams, mine stopes, and tailings ponds. The company also offers equipment rentals.

By reducing the need for confined-space entry, AquaCoustic supports safer inspections and environmentally responsible practices. It combines data collection, geomatics, analytics, and clear reporting to help clients understand asset conditions, plan budgets, manage risk, and make informed maintenance decisions.
