Aqua Fauna Ponds is a Virginia pond specialist founded by Cooper Sallade, a lifelong student of nature with a passion for koi. Based in Richmond, the company serves homeowners and commercial properties across Richmond, Charlottesville, and Williamsburg. It designs and builds custom koi ponds and natural water gardens, including formal concrete ponds and landscape water features, and installs filtration systems tailored to each project.

The team also provides ongoing pond and water-feature care through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly maintenance plans, along with seasonal services such as winterization and fall netting. For koi enthusiasts, Aqua Fauna Ponds offers a hand-selected collection of Japanese koi, chosen for their colors, patterns, and character. Its website also shares practical guidance and stories about pond design, filtration, aquatic plants, fish care, and koi farms.

From creating a backyard aquatic retreat to maintaining a commercial fountain, Aqua Fauna Ponds combines construction expertise, service, and a specialist koi offering to help customers enjoy healthy, attractive water features
