Aquafit Schwimmschule

Aquafit Schwimmschule Brigitte Schori is a swimming school offering instruction for children and adults, alongside a broad programme of water-based fitness classes. Its courses are taught in small groups by experienced, well-trained instructors, with teaching informed by current knowledge in swimming and aquafitness. The school’s children’s lessons use the revised swimming tests from swimsports. Adult options include front-crawl classes, beginner swimming, technique refresher courses, training for more advanced swimmers, and aquafitness.

Its aquafitness and Aquapower sessions combine endurance, stretching, and strengthening exercises, using water resistance to develop mobility, strength, and coordination while reducing strain on the joints. Participants can adjust the intensity to their own pace, and deep-water jogging provides a cardiovascular workout. The programme also includes Aqua Dance, which combines coordinated movements into group choreographies, and Aquafit for 2, a gentle, adjustable water exercise option for people during pregnancy. With courses designed for different ages and fitness levels, the school supports swimming skills, physical activity, and wellbeing in the water.
