Aqua-Fit Walsrode is a locally run aquatic fitness and swimming programme led by Carmen Jentsch in Walsrode, Germany. Its courses use the water’s buoyancy and resistance to support gentle, joint-friendly exercise that can improve strength, endurance and mobility while promoting wellbeing. Expectant and new mothers can take part in aqua fitness, with classes designed to encourage a relaxed way to exercise and connect with others.
The programme also offers baby and toddler swimming, water familiarisation for children aged three and a half to five, and small-group swimming lessons. Children can work towards swimming awards including Seepferdchen, Bronze, Silver and Gold; adult swimming courses and higher-intensity aqua fitness are available on request. Class sizes and formats vary by course, and some children’s sessions require a parent to join them in the water. Course places are assigned in order of registration once payment is received. Families and individuals can contact the provider for current availability, course details and registration information.
