Aquapic

Aquapic is a French nonprofit association offering aquatic and nautical activities in Montpellier, Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, Carnon and La Grande-Motte. Its programs serve babies, children, teenagers and adults, with sessions in heated indoor pools and activities at natural sites including the sea, a lake and a river. Pool-based options include baby swimming and water familiarization, swimming lessons, aquagym, prenatal aquagym, aquadance, aquazumba and aquabike.

Aquapic describes its three pools as modern learning facilities, with water heated to 32°C and a depth of 1. 2 metres; some are equipped with video and sound for more energetic sessions. Outdoor activities include stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking, children’s sailing, and longe côte, a form of aquatic coastal walking.

The association also offers holiday courses focused on aquatic and nautical activities. Sessions are held at pools in Montpellier and at Aquapic’s pool in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, while outdoor activities take place at Carnon, La Grande-Motte and Lake Cécélès.
