Aquareef

Aquareef is a Czech company and online retailer specializing in marine aquarium life. Its catalogue includes SPS, LPS and soft corals, as well as marine fish and other invertebrates. The company places the protection of marine reef habitats at the center of its business, sourcing animals from locations and farms monitored by local authorities. Animals covered by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) are supplied with the documentation required for trade within the European Union.

Aquareef sells corals using a “What You See Is What You Get” approach, so customers receive the specific coral shown in the product listing rather than a representative example. Product photographs include a scale reference: the backing grid has 16-by-16-millimetre openings, and the white substrate stones have a stated diameter of 30 millimetres. This helps buyers assess coral fragment size before ordering. The company also highlights safe transport for corals and fish and provides authentic product photographs.
