Aquarev is a social enterprise dedicated to renovating, revitalizing, and revolutionizing shrimp farming in Indonesia. With a mission to increase productivity and improve smallholder shrimp farmers' income, Aquarev offers a comprehensive approach that focuses on instilling environmentally responsible practices, preserving critical mangrove and coral reef habitats, and promoting efficient energy use. Currently, roughly 80% of Indonesia's shrimp farms are extensive and inefficient, leading to low yields, poor productivity, and low income for farmers.

Aquarev aims to change this by providing smallholder farmers with access to financing, technical expertise, and training to transition to more sustainable and efficient farming practices. They also offer a proprietary agtech + fintech platform that assists farmers in optimizing their cultivation practices and provides financial support for renovations and climate-smart intensification. The ultimate goal is to help 300-500 smallholder farmers transition to sustainable farming practices, obtain certification in sustainable shrimp farming, and triple their incomes over the next 5 years.
