Aquarienfreunde Pegnitz e.V. is an aquarium hobbyist association based in Pegnitz, Germany, dedicated to sharing knowledge and experience about aquaristics. The club introduces its community and activities through its website, welcoming people interested in fishkeeping, aquarium care, and fish breeding. Members meet at the association’s own clubhouse, where they gather on Tuesday evenings and, when possible, on other weekdays for informal discussion and the exchange of practical experience.

The clubhouse includes an aquarium and breeding room. Members can rent aquariums there and fill them with reverse-osmosis water, and the room is equipped with various supplies for breeding and caring for fish. The club also shares information about its breeders and breeding reports, including material on Nannostomus marginatus. Its activities include regular monthly meetings, a fish and aquarium market, and social events such as walks, working days, a barbecue, outings, trout smoking, and a Christmas celebration. Aquarienfreunde Pegnitz offers a place for enthusiasts to learn from one another, pursue their hobby, and take part in a local aquarium community.
