Aquascapes Mumbai creates planted aquariums, aquascapes and balcony ponds, designed and installed in Mumbai by founder Anuraag P Thakkar. The studio builds a range of living water features, including Iwagumi layouts, compact desk tanks, shrimp bowls, goldfish and Flowerhorn tanks, planted balcony ponds, office installations and custom aquariums. Designs are planned around the room, available light, space and budget, with a render prepared for the customer’s approval before materials are ordered.

Each setup focuses on healthy planting and suitable conditions for its inhabitants. Plants help filter the water, and tanks are planted and cycled before delivery. Aquascapes Mumbai then delivers and installs the finished setup, helping it settle in after handover. The service is intended to bring a carefully designed slice of nature into homes and workplaces, rather than simply supplying a tank and livestock. Customers can also enquire about maintenance or discuss an idea they have in mind. Through Instagram and YouTube, the brand shares its builds, methods and lessons, offering a transparent look at the work behind each aquascape.
