Aqua Sharks Academy Atlantic is a swimming school and training club based at the heated, enclosed 25-metre Wendy Way Aquatic Centre at Camps Bay Primary on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard. It helps swimmers progress from their first experiences in a pool to more advanced training and competitive swimming. The programme welcomes learners from age three and supports development through learn-to-swim classes, stroke improvement, age-group training, club swimming and preparation for competition at national and international levels.

The academy offers professional coaching for beginners, swimmers seeking stroke correction, and those aiming to improve their fitness or compete. Its coaches use a range of methods to keep swimmers engaged and encourage long-term participation. Children aged three and older can learn water safety, build confidence in the water and develop basic strokes. From age six, they can join training levels focused on stroke development, fitness and enjoyment. Aqua Sharks Atlantic also provides squad training for children and adults, with groups for different abilities designed to build confidence, motivation and swimming skills.
