Aquastar

Aquastar is a Swiss watch brand specializing in professional dive watches, with a history dating to 1962 and a legacy of technical innovation. Its designs include the no-decompression bezel, patented in 1964 to help divers track decompression times mechanically. Aquastar watches were issued to French Navy combat divers and have been worn by ocean explorer Don Walsh, freediving pioneer Jacques Mayol, and Philippe Cousteau.

The collection spans four families: Deepstar dive chronographs, Benthos deep-diving watches, the Model 60 skindiver, and Airstar pilot’s chronographs. Current offerings include automatic and manual-wind watches, chronographs, limited editions, and re-editions inspired by historic models. Some models feature water resistance up to 500 meters, while specifications vary across the range.
