AQUASUPPORTERS

Aqua Supporters is a unique company based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, dedicated to raising water literacy and promoting sustainable water use. Established in October 2019, Aqua Supporters emphasizes the importance of understanding the sources and pathways of water in our lives, moving beyond the basic perception of tap water and bottled mineral water. Their mission focuses on sustainable practices that connect directly to water management and conservation.

The company recognizes the significant water footprint of everyday products, such as clothing and food, highlighting the indirect consumption of water through global supply chains. Aqua Supporters advocates for regional production and consumption to support local economies and minimize environmental impact.

Furthermore, Aqua Supporters engages in discussions around watershed management and the cyclical nature of water in the ecosystem. Through their initiatives, they aim to shape a deeper understanding of our relationship with water, contributing to both disaster resilience and the promotion of sustainable community development. Their efforts reflect a commitment to fostering a mindful and sustainable approach to water usage in Japan and beyond.
