Aquaticare

Aquaticare is a Gauteng-based aquarium and pond care business founded by Riaan and Belinda Visser, whose passion for aquarium fish grew into a full-time enterprise. Established in 2004, the company designs, installs, and maintains custom aquariums for homes, offices, corporate receptions, doctors’ rooms, banks, and restaurants. Its projects are tailored to each client’s space, décor, needs, and choice of aquatic inhabitants, with tanks available in a variety of sizes and shapes.

Aquaticare supplies, installs, moves, and cares for freshwater and marine systems, including reef, fish-only, mixed coral and fish, lobster, cichlid, tropical fish, and goldfish aquariums. The team also maintains garden ponds, aiming to keep their water clear and systems in excellent condition. Services include scheduled monthly maintenance, one-off cleaning, aquarium installation, refurbishment, and aquascaping. Maintenance arrangements can be customized and operate month to month, with a 30-day notice period. Aquaticare serves customers across Gauteng and has completed installations for clients in Lesotho and Botswana. Its stated focus is on personal, reliable, and professional service.
