Aqua Wonders

Aqua Wonders is a Kolkata-based importer and trader specializing in premium freshwater fish, rare specimens, and custom aquascapes. Founded in 1990 by Ashis and Soumya Banerjee, the business operates a holding facility in Kalighat and serves customers across India. Its curated collection includes arowana, discus, Oscars, clown knife fish, peacock bass, and other exotic freshwater species, alongside aquarium supplies.

Fish are held for a mandatory 14-day quarantine, monitored, and acclimatized to local water parameters before dispatch. For shipping, Aqua Wonders uses insulated packaging, heat packs, and oxygen-charged bags, and offers a live-arrival remedy through replacement or credit if a specimen arrives stressed or damaged.

Beyond fish sales, Aqua Wonders provides aquarium setup and plumbing, bespoke display tanks and showroom builds, aquascaping, scheduled maintenance, water testing, and sourcing of specimens. Its projects serve private collections as well as corporate showrooms, hotels, and modern homes. Based at 17/B Bhagabati Lane in Kalighat, the company combines specialist fish sourcing with aquarium design, care, and delivery services.
