Aranyhaj Világa

Aranyhaj Világa Alapítvány is a Hungarian nonprofit founded by Laky Barbara to raise awareness of hypotonia and help families understand the development options available to children with disabilities. The foundation’s work is inspired by Barbara’s daughter, Bori, who has hypotonia and has attended a range of therapies and developmental programs. Drawing on the family’s experience, the organization shares information about early signs, support needs and the costs families may face.

The foundation provides financial assistance for children’s development and treatment, including through application-based grants that can be used specifically for developmental services. In 2025, it is supporting Bori and six other young children. Since its beginnings, it has helped more than 30 children and contributed three million forints toward other children’s treatment in 2024. Its initiatives also include “Nyaral a család,” which helps families living with a disabled child or adult take a short break together. The foundation invites donations and community support to continue its grants, family programs and awareness-raising work.
