Arapiles

Arapiles Climbing Guides is a professional rock climbing guiding and instruction company operating at Mount Arapiles and the Grampians in Victoria, Australia. Established in 1992, the company has introduced thousands of people to climbing and offers programs for a wide range of abilities, from beginners seeking an enjoyable day outdoors to experienced climbers looking to develop their technique. Courses are tailored to participants’ skills, experience, goals, and group needs.

Services include instruction in lead climbing, anchors, and safe systems for top-roping, abseiling, and belaying. The company also offers nationally recognised courses, outdoor education programs, group activities, and guide hire. Outdoor education uses climbing and abseiling to encourage trust, self-esteem, personal and shared responsibility, and appreciation of the natural environment. For visitors short on time or unfamiliar with the local climbing areas, a professional guide can help them make the most of their visit. The instructors are locally based and familiar with the mountain, with safety and enjoyment central to the company’s programs.
