About Agence de Recherche pour la Biodiversité à la Réunion
Agence de Recherche pour la Biodiversité à La Réunion (ARBRE) is an environmental association dedicated to monitoring, preserving, and promoting biodiversity in La Réunion and the Indian Ocean. Through scientific research, ARBRE aims to acquire knowledge for the development of the regional ecological coherence plan. They also conduct awareness campaigns for all age groups.
With accreditation for environmental protection since 2020 and civic service and voluntary association since 2022, the association is committed to various missions related to biodiversity. These include conducting research projects, acquiring knowledge about different species, and promoting education and awareness from a young age. ARBRE publishes annual activity reports, scientific publications, and collaborates on local, regional, and international projects in research, education, and awareness.
