Co-owner Marcus Allen, with his 15 years of experience in the building industry, was inspired to start Árbol after witnessing the shortcomings of traditional building standards in New Zealand. By incorporating European passive standards and environmental responsibility, Árbol homes are built with superior insulation, uPVC low-e double glazed windows, Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation systems, and airtight building envelopes. These features ensure that their homes are not only healthier but also more cost-effective to run.
