ARC

The Agricultural Research Center (ARC) in Egypt is a pivotal institution dedicated to advancing agricultural productivity through modern technology and innovative research practices. Established in the early 1970s, ARC plays a crucial role in enhancing agricultural outputs in response to Egypt's growing population and limited natural resources.

The center focuses on three primary missions: conducting practical and academic research that yields new agricultural technologies, transferring these innovations to the field through agricultural extension services, and providing continuous training to enhance human capabilities. Key achievements include the development of new crop varieties, improved agricultural practices, and the introduction of sustainable livestock management techniques.

ARC's vision emphasizes ensuring safe and high-quality food, optimizing land and water utilization, and sustaining agricultural economic opportunities. By leveraging advanced biotechnological methods and promoting research-driven policies, ARC aims to address the challenges facing the agricultural sector while improving the livelihoods of farmers across Egypt. Through collaboration with local, regional, and international organizations, ARC is committed to fostering a resilient agricultural future.
