ARCA Onlus

A.R.C.A. (Associazione Randagi in Città e animali Abbandonati) is a Milan-based volunteer organization dedicated to the care and protection of stray and abandoned animals. Legally established as a nonprofit, it supports cats living alone or in urban colonies, providing food and ongoing care, arranging sterilization when needed to prevent unwanted litters or illness, and securing veterinary treatment where appropriate. Its aim is to find suitable homes for animals whenever possible.

A.R.C.A. also helps people adopt cats who have come from the streets, families that can no longer keep them, or other unsafe situations. Before adoption, the cats receive care from qualified veterinarians and are treated, tested for FIV and FELV, vaccinated, and sterilized once old enough. The association offers prospective adopters information about its cats and welcomes visitors by appointment in the evenings, with opening times varying by day. A.R.C.A. operates exclusively in Milan and can be contacted by email or telephone for adoption inquiries, visits, and support.
