ARCH

ARCH is a Romanian initiative developing the country’s first university pediatric hospital modeled on American approaches to medical care and education. Planned for northern Bucharest, the hospital is intended to provide high-quality treatment to children regardless of their families’ financial circumstances, with a focus on complex and critical cases. The project also includes a center offering young people multidisciplinary support for substance and behavioral addictions, including treatment, psychological counseling, and family assistance. Research and innovation are central to ARCH’s plans, alongside rehabilitation services for children and young people.

The development is planned in three phases: hospital construction, acquisition of advanced medical equipment, and establishment of research and rehabilitation facilities. The proposed hospital will have 250 beds and is designed to use green, sustainable energy. ARCH also aims to work with experienced volunteers from American hospitals to strengthen pediatric care in Romania. The initiative is seeking donations and other forms of support to help bring the project to life and expand access to specialized care for children.
