ARCHES Conseils

ARCHES Conseils is a French nonprofit association focused on health, the environment and decision support. It conducts independent research into air pollution, climate change, vegetation and related effects on human health and ecosystems. Drawing on scientific expertise, the association develops decision-support tools and offers guidance to public authorities in France and Europe, as well as decision-makers, citizen associations and private companies.

A central part of its work is sharing knowledge and expertise. ARCHES Conseils organizes national and international conferences and brings experts together, while also taking part in conferences and workshops for academic, scientific and decision-making audiences. Its activities address topics including outdoor air pollution, radon exposure, climate impacts on health and vegetation, and forest ecosystem health.

The association has organized events on air pollution and climate change impacts on forests, including an international conference in Nice in 2015, and a conference on forest health at the United Nations headquarters in New York in 2017. ARCHES Conseils also invites public support and funding to help carry out its research projects.
