Archetype Midwifery

Archetype Midwifery Collective provides inclusive, personalized midwifery care for families across South Mississippi and parts of southeast Louisiana within 75 miles of Gulfport. Led by Star Croucher, LM, CPM, the collective serves clients through a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach grounded in respect, choice, and culturally sensitive support. Its care is available to people of diverse identities, family structures, and religious or spiritual beliefs, including queer and neurodivergent clients.

Services span preconception, pregnancy, birth, and at least 12 months of postpartum support. The team offers prenatal care and support for home births in settings chosen by families, with waterbirth and landbirth options. Care is individualized and may include support for VBAC and vaginal breech birth. Providers emphasize informed decision-making, trauma-informed care, and time for questions, while offering emergency training and transfer of care when needed or desired. Families can choose private or full-family experiences and connect with a broader community through resources and events.
