Archfossil

Archfossil is a collaborative tabletop role-playing project set in The Riven Lands, a dangerous world of ancient mysteries, forgotten civilizations, political rivalries, and untamed wilderness. Its story unfolds across a shared narrative, where the choices of players at one table can shape events encountered by others. The project features a live actual-play show alongside off-stream games and daily play-by-post adventures, creating many ways to take part.

Players can join scheduled weekly or biweekly sessions, follow narrative updates at their own pace, or enroll in a play-by-mail campaign with weekly or monthly character updates and opportunities to submit actions. Participants may portray noble leaders, military commanders, or travelling adventurers, and their characters may even appear in the show as non-player characters.

The world of Madai includes regions such as the frozen Frostmarch, the ancient Thornweald, the fortress-city of Ironhaven, and the volcanic Cradle. Archfossil also shares news, artwork, and sessions through platforms including Instagram, Discord, Bluesky, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Spotify.
