Archipelago Network is an initiative dedicated to the research and preservation of endangered audiovisual heritage and material knowledge on the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. Functioning as a laboratory for field research and knowledge production, Archipelago Network tackles pressing social and ecological issues of our time through its archival preservation activities, interdisciplinary residencies, and public programs.

The organization's team, based in Syros and Athens, consists of highly experienced staff with extensive backgrounds in audiovisual preservation and production, residency programs, cultural activities, and project management. Additionally, Archipelago Network benefits from the expertise of external advisors who contribute on an ad-hoc basis in fields such as digitization, intellectual property law, and project-specific information.

This remarkable team is led by founder and lead researcher Jacob Moe, project manager Stefania Koutsoupia, communications director Maria Paktiti, legal consultant Stavros Koutalas, and development consultant Argiro Mesimeri. Archipelago Network's advisory board, including Evagelos Athanassiou, Gelina Harlafti, Toby Lee, Mark Mazower, and Rick Prelinger, provides invaluable guidance and insight.
