Architecture LGBT+ is a UK-wide network for LGBTQ+ people working across architecture and the built environment. We build visibility, belonging and peer support, and advocate for a profession where LGBTQ+ people can thrive at every stage of their careers. Volunteer-run and community-led since 2016, we work towards meaningful change in practice, education and professional life.

About Architecture LGBT+
Architecture LGBT+ is a grassroots organization run by volunteers, dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for LGBT+ architects and professionals in the field. Our goal is to combat the prevalence of homophobia and transphobia in the architecture and construction industry and create a prejudice-free workplace. Through networking events, learning opportunities, mentoring programs, and the support of role models, we strive to address the challenges faced by LGBT+ individuals.
Our organization has organized various events, including seminars, panel discussions, and networking sessions, collaborating with activists, writers, performers, and speakers. One of our notable initiatives is the annual Pride Float competition, held in partnership with Pride events across the UK. With organizing centers in London, Manchester, Scotland, and the North East, we currently have thirteen dedicated members.
