Archivio Storico dell’Infiorata di Noto is a community-focused project dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of the Infiorata, Noto’s artistic flower festival. Its growing archive brings together varied records and objects that document past editions, including posters, programmes, brochures, design sketches, photographs, audiovisual materials, postcards, postal items, official documents, and memorabilia. The collection aims to tell the story of the festival through images and personal memories, highlighting its artists, participants, popular culture, international experiences, and tangible and intangible heritage.

Citizens and artists are invited to contribute original materials or copies through a shared community initiative called “Call to Memories.” Participation in the collection activities is free and open to everyone. The project promotes preservation and public knowledge through sharing, and is carried out with the patronage of the Municipality of Noto in collaboration with the cultural association Petali d’Arte. Conceived by Cettina Lauretta, it also involves artist Lucio Pintaldi in curating the documentary exhibition and community workshop.
