Arcjet

Arcjet is an AI agent runtime security platform that helps organizations discover and govern the agents operating across their systems. Its controls are designed to act where decisions become real: at each prompt, tool call, API request, or other action in an agent workflow. Arcjet can detect prompt injection, authorize or block tool calls, identify and redact sensitive information such as personal data, and help prevent bots, abuse, and excessive usage.

Policies can consider an agent’s identity, role, route, typed inputs, and earlier steps, with outcomes such as allow, deny, redact, or hold for review. The platform also captures decisions and supporting context as audit evidence, while sensitive checks run in the customer’s environment. Arcjet offers building blocks including Arcjet Guards, a plugin, skills, an MCP server, and a CLI, alongside protections for web applications such as a WAF, rate limiting, signup form protection, and email validation.

Its SDKs support frameworks including Next. js, Express, Astro, and Flask, and it integrates with multiple AI agent frameworks and coding agents
