Arclings is a digital collectibles project creating 6,283 unique, fully on-chain pixel avatars on the Arc network. Each Arcling is a monochrome 40-by-40 bitmap, generated from its token ID and stored in a smart contract rather than on image-hosting services. The collection’s limited supply reflects the mathematical constant tau, and its central concept is a circle that closes with the final mint.
The project offers an interactive customizer for previewing avatar traits, checking rarity metrics, and simulating randomized distributions. Collectors can explore different visual styles, including Ink on Paper and Inverted, alongside traits such as body patterns, headwear, and accessories. Artwork is rendered as SVGs, with PNG and SVG downloads available through the customizer.
Arclings also provides a website, mint and wallet-status tools, and plans developer resources for accessing on-chain data and building integrations. Released under a CC0 license, its pixel artwork can be remixed, printed, or incorporated into other projects. The roadmap describes future open-source tools, APIs, community integrations, and on-chain avatar synthesis.
