ArcLoom is an early-stage company developing rack-ready AI capacity by pooling small sites with existing power. Its approach is designed for AI operators facing long waits for new grid connections: rather than build a conventional data center around a new large-load connection, ArcLoom identifies and qualifies available power at locations such as substations, industrial sites, generators, solar facilities with storage, and utility yards. Each site contributes a planned 2 MW Databox, with multiple sites combined into a larger capacity pool. The proposed first pilot is 20 MW across ten sites.
ArcLoom provides powered space and facility infrastructure; customers bring their own racks, servers, software, and workloads. A Databox is designed as a factory-built module with separate compute and plant rooms, plus electrical equipment, fiber access, liquid cooling, dry coolers, safety systems, and controlled entry. ArcLoom says it will operate and maintain each site, while qualifying power, land, permits, fiber, and cost. Its stated 3–6-month customer-ready timeline and capacity figures are targets and models, not delivery records.
