Behinderten-Support, a service offering from Arcos EIT GmbH, helps people with disabilities pursue independent living at home. Its work focuses on making personal assistance easier to organize and manage, including support with coordination and administrative processes connected to authorities. The team assists with billing under the Bernese model, covering matters such as assistant wages, IV, SPITEX, VIBEL and insurance, as well as tax tasks, applications, forms and communication with public offices.

The service also provides practical and technical help tailored to individual needs. PC support includes configuration, updates, applications, repairs and routine administrative tasks. Handyman services help address everyday tasks that have become difficult or make adjustments to the home environment in response to a person’s health needs. Where possible, work is completed using the team’s own resources; otherwise, other service providers may be engaged.

Behinderten-Support presents the Bernese model and the VIBEL pilot project as ways to assess individual support needs and enable people to arrange assistance suited to their circumstances.
