About Area-Eur
AREA is the European association of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) contractors. Established in 1989, AREA represents the interests of 24 national associations from 21 countries, encompassing 13,000 companies and employing 110,000 people. The association has an impressive annual turnover of nearly €23 billion.
As the essential link between end users and manufacturers, RACHP contractors play a crucial role in designing, installing, and maintaining equipment. AREA contractors are completely neutral towards equipment and refrigerants, using every available solution to ensure the highest level of reliability, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Within the industry, AREA has become known as The Voice of European Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Contractors.
