Arendal Slalåmklubb

Arendal Slalåmklubb is a community ski club founded in 1936, serving more than 300 members from across Agder. Based in Arendal, the club holds its training and ski school at Vegårshei, about 40 minutes away. Its inclusive approach welcomes children and adults of all abilities, with an emphasis on safety, enjoyment, skill development and confidence on snow.

The club offers beginner ski school, alpine training, Freeski sessions and Masters training for experienced skiers who want to maintain their skills or pursue competition. The ski school introduces children to basic equipment, balance, stopping and turning before they progress to regular alpine training. Freeski focuses on creative skiing and tricks, while Masters combines regular practice with the option of competing, including at the annual NM Masters.

Members can also join ski trips and benefit from discounted lift tickets. Annual membership costs NOK 200, with a training fee of NOK 650 for participants in training.
