AMEPO

Areola Solidaria is a compassionate initiative dedicated to supporting women who have undergone mastectomy due to breast cancer, particularly those with limited financial resources. Through the art of micropigmentation, the campaign offers the creation of areolas at no cost, helping to restore confidence and self-esteem to those affected. Launched in collaboration with the AMEPO (Association of Micropigmentation, Esthetics, Paramedical, and Oncological), Areola Solidaria boasts national coverage in Spain.

Since its inception, the initiative has aimed to integrate these essential services into public healthcare, highlighted by a proposal presented in May 2015 to the Spanish Congress. The testimonials from grateful patients underscore the transformative impact of this service; individuals express feelings of renewal and emotional healing. In partnership with several committed collaborators and clinics, Areola Solidaria is not only a beacon of hope but also a crucial step towards improved quality of life for many women navigating the challenges of recovery and self-acceptance.
