About Aretai
Aretai is a brand that specializes in the creation of outstanding sound and design products, specifically loudspeakers. Founded in 2018 by two individuals with a shared passion for innovation, Aretai aims to offer unique and exceptional audio experiences. The brand's journey began when Jānis Irbe, known for his sound improvement passion, developed the now award-winning Contra 350F prototype.
Inspired by the High-End Munich Show, the team sought to create speakers that stood out from what was available at the time. After perfecting the sound in the prototype, numerous design iterations took place until the Aretai Contra collection speakers were born. Notably, the series received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2022.
