The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) has been dedicated to helping homeless and abandoned animals since 1974. With over 49 years of experience, ARF has provided tens of thousands of cats and dogs with compassion, food, shelter, medical care, training, and most importantly, their forever homes with new families. As ARF approaches its 50th anniversary, they have embarked on an exciting project called Forever Home.

This initiative aims to bring critical improvements to ARF's campus, ensuring that they can continue to provide excellent and compassionate care for animals for generations to come. The Forever Home project includes the Richard Wells McCabe Welcome Center, a redesigned lobby that features retail, meet and greet rooms, and custom-built spaces for small dogs and puppies. In addition, there will be a new kennel building for dogs, complete with individual kennels, rooms for dogs with special needs, and outdoor exercise areas.

ARF is also constructing a year-round training center to enhance their dog training and socialization programs. The center will include a viewing area, outdoor play yard, and an environmentally-conscious waste system.
