Arbeitsgemeinschaft Selbsthilfe behinderter Menschen in Essen e. V. is a network of 48 self-help associations representing people with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Essen, Germany.

Bringing together people with lived experience, the organisation works to improve local conditions and promote inclusion, accessibility, respect and human dignity. It shares information for affected people and their families, including guidance on inclusive living, accessible buildings, the German Participation Act and local support services. Its offerings include an Ergänzende unabhängige Teilhabeberatung (EUTB) service, which provides independent participation advice by appointment, as well as information about the Euro key for accessible facilities.
