Amphibian and Reptile Groups of the UK (ARG UK) is a dedicated registered charity committed to the conservation of native amphibians and reptiles and their habitats across the UK. By fostering a network of independent volunteer groups, ARG UK enables local communities to engage in essential conservation efforts, such as population surveys, habitat restoration, and education initiatives. The organization focuses on practical tasks like creating wildlife gardens, restoring ponds, and establishing vital hibernacula.

ARG UK also prioritizes public outreach to raise awareness about amphibians and reptiles through events, workshops, and training programs, engaging schools, gardeners, and wildlife enthusiasts in conservation activities. Moreover, the charity collaborates with animal disease experts to monitor and address potential threats to these species, including deadly pathogens. Support for ARG UK comes from public donations and partnerships with businesses. Whether through direct contributions or shopping initiatives, every bit of support helps protect the rich biodiversity of the UK's amphibians and reptiles, ensuring their survival for future generations.
