Ar Gwelann Equitation is an equestrian centre in Surzur, France, established as a place for riders to learn, develop their skills and enjoy horses. Its programme includes riding lessons for beginners and more experienced participants, with opportunities to prepare for riding-level certificates. The centre also offers baby pony sessions, holiday and summer camps, themed training and competition stages, rides, and pony outings. Activities range from recreational riding and skill development to exam preparation and trail riding, with an emphasis on learning through enjoyable experiences.
Riders can take part in competitions and events, while horse owners can access boarding, overnight stays and rental half-board arrangements. The centre also provides training for people seeking to qualify as holders of equines. Its professional equestrian animator programme is designed for riders from Galop 5 level and includes information on admissions, assessments, teaching methods, work placements and financing. Founded in 2019 by Muriel Le Pichon, Ar Gwelann Formation organises and supervises this qualification with individualised support.
