Argyrakis Wines is a family business based in Naoussa, northern Greece, with a rich history that dates back to the early 20th century. The story began with Georgios Argyrakis, a horse trader in Smyrna (Izmir), who crafted exceptional wines using traditional practices. Following the Great Fire of Smyrna in 1922, the family relocated to Thessaloniki, Greece.

The wine legacy was carried on by Giorgos Argyrakis, the grandson, who established Argyrakis Wines in 1997 after a successful career as a leading Oenologist. Driven by their passion for winemaking, Giorgos and his sons, Konstantinos and Spiros, strive to produce unique and high-quality wines that combine traditional techniques with locally famous varieties. With an annual production of around 20,000 bottles, Argyrakis Wines ensures meticulous attention to detail in crafting their wines.

Georgios Argyrakis, with over 35 years of experience as a Chemical Oenologist, plays a pivotal role in the team, sharing his expertise in creating exceptional wines.

Spiros Argirakis, a civil engineer with expertise in bioclimatic wineries, brings a modern and autonomous energy to the winery. Konstantinos Argyrakis, the youngest Oenologist, not only contributes his winemaking skills but also curates the music selections at the winery.
