Ariano FolkFestival (AFF) is an international music and cultural festival based in Ariano Irpino, Campania, Italy. Since its first edition in 1996, it has brought audiences together around folk and world music, with artists and sounds from Italy and across the globe. The festival’s programme spans live concerts and a range of musical traditions, from roots and folk to jazz, ska, reggae and other contemporary styles. Its archive of past editions features performers including Gogol Bordello, Goran Bregović, Africa Unite and Calexico.
Alongside its concerts, AFF offers side events, food and cultural experiences that showcase the Irpinia area. VolksCamp combines camping with access to the festival, while festival passes and day tickets provide ways to attend performances. The event also includes Sonazone, with priority entry offered to AFF pass holders. The festival’s upcoming 31st edition is scheduled for 19–22 August 2027 in Ariano Irpino; programme details and ticket prices are to be announced.
