About Arkitectureonweb
They recently completed the restoration of the Unilever Benelux headquarters in the heart of Rotterdam. The headquarters is housed in a 1960s concrete-framed building designed by renowned architect C. A.
Abspoel. Occupying six floors, the new Unilever plant provides a modern and dynamic environment for about 750 employees. Upon entering the headquarters, visitors are greeted with the Lipton Bar, offering a stunning view of the city.
The interior design by Mecanoo architecten incorporates horizons that connect the various floors, promoting collaboration among employees. The building features an auditorium called the Town Hall, event spaces, and a restaurant, all of which can be adapted for conferences, events, and catering. The interior layout of the headquarters resembles a city, with streets and shops.
Multipurpose cabinets interspersed throughout the building serve as interior storefronts for Unilever, showcasing their products. Each department has its own workspace with unique branding and features. Overall, the Unilever Benelux headquarters is a testament to arkitectureonweb's commitment to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing architectural spaces
