About Arkplan
Arkplan is a Danish landscape design company that has been in existence since 2004. They specialize in various aspects of landscape architecture, including urban development, residential projects, commercial spaces, education, and natural environments. One of their notable projects is the Børne- og Ungeuniverset, a new school in Stigsborg Havnefront, Nørresundby, for Aalborg Kommune.
This project aims to create a space that combines educational facilities with recreational areas, seamlessly integrating the concept of different habitats into the learning environment. The project also features a central meeting place, Skolepladsen, which can be used for various community gatherings. Arkplan has also collaborated with other companies to develop outdoor furniture, such as the 'GRY' series, consisting of a table, bench, chair, and plinth.
Additionally, they have been involved in the transformation of Fyrkildevej, a housing area in collaboration with Rosseels Tegnestue/Arkplan, Himmerland Boligforening, and other architects. With their expertise and diverse portfolio, Arkplan continues to create beautiful, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces for various clients and communities
